I took this photo while spending an afternoon at Hampton Beach. The birds were going after either fish, or bugs, as the waves came crashing. They were flying back and forth for quite some time. I have about 30 different pictures, just of the birds.

Gorgeous birds! Do you think they were holding a meeting or each making sure the other didn’t get an extra fish? Or just flying from sheer joy in life? I always see a picture and start thinking of a story. A bad habit! Or a good one if you are me. 🙂
Hahaha! They were literally going back and forth for about twenty minutes, I got a lot of shots. My aunt was with me and my daughter, she said they were going for either fish or bugs.
I’m the same way, I love photography that makes you sit and think, “what was going on here”.
I like your world view.
Me too 😉
I aspire to be the type of photographer that creates images, and has people stop and think.
Well, I’d say you are there, you’ve found your place. It’s a place I’ll come back and visit again.
Thank you very much! I look at photos from the National Geographic photographers, and I think, “wow…someday…”
Why not? If you can dream it, you can begin it, and here you are in your own beginning. Making your own life a fairy tale.
I currently lack the funds to travel around the world, and, I have my little girl who I could never leave! 🙂 But, I’ll start with in and around where we live, then, maybe some day, when I have more money and my daughter is grown, I’ll travel around the world. I’ve recently decided I want to travel to Romania…I decided that this morning.
Not everyone can travel to where you are, so you have an extraordinary view all your own. Thanks for sharing it. Romania sounds like a great choice.
