Tonight, I am spending time in the studio. The studio is one of my absolute favorite places to be. The great thing about the studio is that, I have access to so much space (8,000 square feet of space), as well as a bunch of sets, props, lighting, and, other photographers. The studio I work out of is called The Studio of Photographic Arts, or, SOPHA. It is the best place ever. We have 150 members in the studio, all different backgrounds, and yet, we all find a common ground…our love of photography. I love the members at the studio, and, the owners, Bud and Dave are awesome-tastic. They are both so knowledgeable, hilarious, and great guys. I cannot rave enough about SOPHA. Even if I’m not shooting at the studio, I’ll just go to hang out, do some editing, etc. They offer classes, group shoots each month, and, members only events. Best place ever. Seriously. My love for the studio is only shadowed by the love I have for my daughter. I have learned so much in the past four months, and, have met such great people.

Tonight, I decided that I will do my editing and dinner eating at the studio with Dave, Bud and Cheese. We ordered from Five Guys. mmmm delish.

This is one photo from one of my studio shoots…

About kingphotography13

I am a female photographer who enjoys finding the beauty in everything. I am located in Southern New Hampshire. I am a member of the Studio of Photographic Arts, as such, I have access to 8,000 square feet of studio space. The SOPHA has three studios, with various sets in each studio, as well as a client meeting room. I am also available for location shoots. I do not have a specified price range, as, each shoot, just like each person is unique, and therefore must be priced accordingly. (a big thank you to my photographer friend, Elle Cei for the profile picture of me!) For questions, please contact me at kingphotography13@yahoo.com. Nice use of shadow and angling of the face. 1 light setup?

  2. Three lights. I was using an Octa, a gridded beauty dish and then a gridded strip light. ISO 200, 1/125, f/5.6.
